This community is designed to support the Embedding Informatics in Clinical Education project (eICE). The first stage of the project carried out a wide ranging consultation and produced a revised verison of the Learning to Manage Health Information guidance framework (as below). This was published at a national conference in March 2009, which also aimed to provide tools, learning and networking opportunities for those involved in clinical education. The community intends to provide a platform to continue the sharing of douments, tools, information and support. The UK Faculty of Health Informatics (previously the NHS Faculty of Health Informatics) is a UK wide community of practice established in 2005. We have a membership of over 600 across the UK working in a mixture of Information Management and ICT roles within the NHS. Many of our members come from Clinical roles, Higher Education, and the Private Sector.

The Video, Audio & Podcasting Project pilot aims to evaluate the potential benefits of using video and audio content through online delivery mechanisms, including podcasting, in order to share information with our key stakeholders across the NHS.
The initial outputs of the pilot project will be made available to members of specific 'critical friend' Communities, such as the UK Faculty of Health Informatics on the eSpace platform, to help us evaluate their value. If the pilot is successful this should then lead into a broader online media plan within CFH.
